When it applies. A foul in the vicinity of the goal that, in the Umpire's opinion, prevents a goal (the rulebook's term is a "deliberate foul"). It is judged on where and how serious the foul is, not on proving intent.

The award. One or two goals, depending on whether the attempted shot met the criteria of Rule 6.a(2).

The restart. The game resumes with a Penalty 5.b awarded to the team fouled.
